This summer I have again done little bit this and that.. some clay, some Bob the Builder stuff and set up Live Heroes store. BUT I have had time to do some traditional art too (well, as traditional as my art is). I have done lately kind of.. rough art... so I wanted to go for something different this time. Minusta alkoi tuntumaan, että taiteeni on ollut viimeaikoina hieman... karheaa.. rajua.. joten ajattelin kokeilla hieman. kauniimpaa tällä kertaa. I started from empty a3 paper... no. I did not take photo of that. sorry. But I did take photo about as soon as dropart part with ink and paint was ready. And I did draw some guidance with pencil- Then I started to draw the fish with white gellyroll Ja piirtelin lyiykynällä hieman apuviivoja. Sitten aloin piirtämään kalaa valkealla geelikynällä. It looked little mean from the beginning and... I just could not make it different. Se näytti vähän ilkeältä heti alkuunsa enkä kyennyt muuttamaan asiaa mitenkään. It's slow to draw with gellyroll because it dries .difficulty. It's Fast enough but make things faster than painting... but still too slow.. I mean that I have to draw one place really good and slow because it takes hours before I can draw on top of it again. Geelikynillä on hidasta piirtää koska se kuivuu... hankalasti. . Monimutkaista? Joudun piirtämään hyvin tarkkaan jokaisen kohdan, ja värittämään huolella koska kynän jälki tarvitsee pari tuntia kuivuakseen kunnolla että voin korjata tai värittää päälle. And I can't do much of those .. helping lines or draw the shape ready because the "ink" smudges easy.. SO I go from head to tail. Then I had to take also black gellyroll to help me with the scales and details because some parts white just doesn't show enough from the background. It took a while to get to this far and still it's not even half done.. there has been times with this fishy project when I have hoped I could just throw it to trash and forget it completely. Meni melkoinen tovi päästä näin pitkälle, enkä ole edes puolessavälissä... tätä kalaisaa projektia tehdessäni olen taas useampaankin otteeseen haaveillut, että voisin vain heittää koko työn roskiin ja unohtaa. That's how it look's ready.. BUT that's not how it's supposed to look. You see.. I forget to take photos when I was doing couple important steps. First I draw the white parts ready.. then I took blue paint and do the dropart stuff over the fishie.. took both white and black gellyroll to draw things again... and gold paint that I still had left. I used it little bit here and there.. and then made mixture of blue paint and gold paint and and drop it all over again.. of course I did let the gold paint to dry before. Katsokaan... no.. You see whole project was done with this idea in my head.. that Light will do the rest. |
